Polar Bears Finish 10th at Eastern Championships
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine - The Bowdoin College nordic ski team finished in 10th place at the Eastern Intercollegiate Skiing Association Championship at Sugarloaf Touring Center this weekend.
The top finish of the weekend was by Walt Shepard, who earned a 22nd place finish in the men's 20K freestyle on Saturday. Spencer Eusden finished 26th as the Polar Bears took a ninth-place showing as a team. The women's team was 10th in their 15K freestyle race. Courtney Martin was 43rd individually in the competition.
On Friday, Colman Hatton earned a 35th place finish in the men's 10K classic. Walt Shepard was 41st overall in the competition. The women's team earned 10th place overall and was paced by Erin Hatton's 48th place showing. Olivia Orr and Courtney Martin collected 51st and 52nd, respectively.
