BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College cross-country teams have released their 2012 meet schedule.
The Polar Bears will compete in six regional meets this fall, including the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship on Saturday, October 27.
The men's and women's cross-country squads will open the year on September 22 at the Wesleyan Invitational and, following an off-weekend, will compete at the Open New England Championship in Boston on October 6. That begins a string of championship events for the Polar Bears that will include the State Meet at the University of Southern Maine on October 13, the NESCAC Championship at home on the 27th and the New England Division III Championship on November 10 at Westfield (Mass.) State.
The 2012 NCAA Division III Championship meet is scheduled for Saturday, November 24 at Rose-Hulman Institute in Terre Haute, Indiana.
This fall, the women's team will be captained by Maddie Lamo, Olivia MacKenzie and Molly Porcher. The men's squad will be captained by James Boeding, Coby Horowitz and Gregory Talpey.
