Outdoor Track Teams Compete at UNH Invitational

DURHAM, N.H. - Several Bowdoin athletes competed at the University of New Hampshire's Wildcat Invitational last weekend as the Polar Bears earned five individual victories.

In the women's meet, Grace Kerr placed first in the 800 meters, running a time of 2:19.66 to edge teammate Alex Peacock-Villada by 0.12 seconds. Bowdoin earned two victories in the field events, courtesy of Christine Head, who claimed the pole vault (2.98 meters), and Kelsey Borner, who won the discus (38.99 meters).

On the men's side, Zach Winters was victorious in the 400 meter dash (50.82) while Nick Ianetta took first in the javelin with a toss of 52.85 meters. Bowdoin's 4x100 meter relay team also placed first overall.
