Ryan Earns Spot at NCAA's Following Strong Showing at Regionals

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Mitchell Ryan qualified for the NCAA Diving Championship after finishing in the top seven at a regional hosted by MIT.

Ryan qualified for the second consecutive year after finishing sixth in the 3-meter with 515.80 and eighth in the 1-meter (433.75).

All three Bowdoin women performed well at the regional, but landed just outside the qualifying spots. Christine Andersen's top finish came in the 3-meter with a 9th place performance. Rebecca Stern earned 18th at the same height, while Thea Kelsey posted a top-20 result in the 1-meter.

Ryan will travel with Bowdoin's six swimming qualifiers to Houston, Texas on March 15.
