Mecray Competes at NCAA Swimming Championships

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College sophomore Nathan Mecray, the NESCAC Champion in the 50 yard breaststroke competed at the NCAA Division III Championships hosted at the University of Minnesota's Aquatic Center this week.

Mecray raced in the preliminaries of the 50 freestyle on Wednesday morning, the 100 breaststroke on Friday morning and the 100 freestyle on Saturday morning but did not qualify for the championship races in any of the events.

Mecray was the first Bowdoin men's swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championship since Roger Burleigh in 2006.
