BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's squash team will be the eighth seed for the upcoming NESCAC Championship and will play Tufts University in the opening round of the tournament on Friday at Hamilton College.
Bowdoin is the eighth seed for the first time since 2014. The Polar Bears posted a 3-9 record in the regular season and earned a 6-3 win over Tufts on January 27. Tufts enters the tournament with a 6-8 record and is the ninth seed for the third straight season. The Jumbos are looking to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2010. Bowdoin is 2-0 against the Jumbos in NESCAC Championship action. The two teams have not met since a 2014 first-round match, which the Polar Bears won, 9-0.
The winner of Friday's match advances to play top-seeded Trinity on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
