Men's Squash Dominates Tufts in Opening Round of NESCAC Tournament
Maxwell Bearse earned his second win in as many days as Bowdoin defeated Hamilton 7-2

CLINTON, N.Y. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team faced little resistance in a 9-0 sweep of Tufts in Friday's NESCAC First Round Friday evening at Hamilton College.

The Polar Bears (8-8) advance to Saturday's quarterfinal round against Williams at 10:30 a.m. Bowdoin also swept Tufts 9-0 in its season opener on November 23.

Bowdoin lost just a single set en route to the win. Down the ladder, Stephen Danyluk (3-0), Matthew Cooper
(3-0), Reid Wilson (3-1), Andrew Ward (3-0), Christian Dorff (3-0), Maxwell Bearse (3-0), Benjamin Bristol (3-0), William Winmill (3-0) and Cyrus Nassikas (3-0) accounted for the Polar Bear points. Bearse was particularly dominant, earning an 11-1, 11-1, 11-1 victory at #6.

The Polar Bears will have some work to do in Saturday's quarterfinal match. Bowdoin dropped a 9-0 decision to Williams on January 12.
