Men's Squash Splits Weekend Matches at Yale Round Robin

Will Winmill earned four wins in action last weekend for the Polar Bears

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team split four matches at the Yale Round Robin last weekend in Connecticut.

The Polar Bears, ranked 19th nationally, stand at 7-8 this season after losing close matches to #15 Drexel (5-4) and #22 George Washington (5-4) but rebounding for victories against #24 Hamilton (8-1) and #28 Hobart (8-1).

Will Winmill posted a perfect weekend for the Polar Bears, earning 3-0 wins over Hamilton, George Washington and Hobart while taking a 3-1 victory over Drexel. Stephen Danyluk, Andrew Ward, Christian Dorff, Maxwell Bearse, Ben Bristol and Cyrus Nassikas also collected three wins apiece at the round robin.

Bowdoin will compete at the NESCAC Championship Tournament this weekend at Hamilton. The Polar Bears will learn the brackets and seeding on Tuesday.
