BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's soccer team has released its 2012 schedule.

The Polar Bears will open at home on Saturday, September 8 against Wesleyan University and will play a total of seven home contests this fall. In addition to the season-opener against Wesleyan, Bowdoin will also host NESCAC foes Bates (September 25), Connecticut College (September 29), Williams (October 7) and Trinity (October 20).

Non-conference home matches include Maine-Farmington (September 15) and Saint Joseph's (October 2). Key road matches include clashes at Babson (September 16), at Middlebury (September 22) and difficult back-to-back matches at Hamilton and Amherst (October 13-14).

Bowdoin, who advanced to the program's first-ever NCAA Division III Final Four in 2010, will look to bounce back from a 2011 campaign that saw the squad go 4-7-3. The Polar Bears will be captained by Call Nichols, Ben Brewster and Michael Gale this fall.
