BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's soccer player Sean Bishop (Danvers, Mass.) has been named a First Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Bishop, a junior back, helped lead the Polar Bears to their best-ever season with 15 wins a trip to the NCAA Semifinals this fall.

Michael Gale Named Winner of NCAA's Prestigious "Elite 88" Award
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Michael Gale, a sophomore at Bowdoin, has been named as the recipient of the Elite 88 award for the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship. Gale, who is planning on majoring in Biochemistry, currently carries a 3.925 GPA and was presented with the award during the Division III Men's Soccer national banquet on Thursday evening, December 2 in San Antonio.
