Crowley Earns All-American, All-New England Honors
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College senior men's soccer player Mike Crowley (Wesllesley, Mass.) has earned All-American honors, while Nick Figueiredo (Wilmington, Mass.) joined him in collecting All-Region recognition in selections announced late last week. Crowley, a senior captain, led a Polar Bear defense that allowed just 16 goals in 15 games last year and finished second overall in the NESCAC Standings with an 11-3-1 record.

Men's Soccer Takes NESCAC Honors
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's soccer team placed three players on the NESCAC's All-Conference team released on Thursday.
Polar Bears Mike Crowley (Wellesley, Mass.) and Nick Figueiredo (Wilmington, Mass.) were selected as First-Team members, while Simon Parsons (Hollis, N.H.) was a Second-Team choice. The Polar Bears finished the 2005 campaign with a record of 11-3-1.

BRUNSWICK, Maine - With Tufts University's 2-0 defeat of Wesleyan University on Wednesday evening, the Bowdoin College men's soccer team has clinched a first-round NESCAC home contest on Sunday, October 30. Sunday's gametime is scheduled for 12:30.

Men's Soccer Cracks Top-25
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's soccer team is 4-0-1 in their last five games and has cracked the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Top 25 poll this week. The Polar Bears (10-2-1), who close out their regular season on Saturday at home against Wesleyan, are ranked 21st in Division III.

Fran O'Leary Named Head Coach of Men's Soccer
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College has announced the hiring of Fran O'Leary as the next head coach of the men's soccer program. A veteran of collegiate soccer, O'Leary was most recently the head coach at Division I George Mason University. O'Leary replaces Brian Ainscough, who accepted a position at Northeastern earlier this month.

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College announced today that head men's soccer coach Brian Ainscough has accepted the head coaching position at Northeastern University. An national search for his replacement is already underway.
