BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College senior men's lacrosse player Ben Brewster (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) has been named an Honorable Mention Division III All-American by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
A First Team All-NESCAC and All-New England performer, Brewster led the NESCAC with a career-high 33 caused turnovers and ranked eighth with a career-high 65 ground balls. The senior concludes his career with 147 total ground balls and 67 caused turnovers. Brewster, who received the school's Sid Watson Award as the senior class' top multi-sport athlete, was also All-NESCAC, All-New England and All-American for Bowdoin's men's soccer team.
In addition to All-Americans, the USILA announced the rosters for its North/South Division III Senior All-Star Game. Bowdoin's Conor O'Toole (San Marino, Calif.) and Daniel Hanley (Falmouth, Maine) have accepted invitations to play in the contest scheduled for Sunday, May 25 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, the location for the NCAA Championships. O'Toole had 20 goals and 11 assists this season for Bowdoin. Hanley totaled 17 goals and four assists.
