Matt Johansmeyer Joins Bowdoin Men's Lacrosse Coaching Staff

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has announced that Matt Johansmeyer has been named as an Assistant Coach for the men's lacrosse team.

Most recently at Clark University, Johansmeyer served an assistant for the Cougars, helping lead the team to its second-most wins in a season in both 2011 and 2012. At Bowdoin he will work with the midfielders and assist with recruiting efforts.

A 2010 graduate of Plymouth State University, Johansmeyer was a four-year letterwinner as a midfielder for the Panthers, captaining the 2010 squad. He also served as the men's lacrosse representative on the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He is a native of Shelburne Falls, Mass.
