Men's Lacrosse Ranked 18th in USILA Division III Preseason Poll

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team is ranked 18th in the Division III preseason poll released by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association on Monday.

The Polar Bears finished the 2011 campaign with an 8-7 record, advancing to the NESCAC Semifinals. Bowdoin came on strong at the end of the season with wins in five of their last six contests. Bowdoin is one of five NESCAC teams to appear in the poll, joining Tufts (#3), Amherst (#6) and Middlebury (#10) and Trinity (#16).

Bowdoin will begin practice on Wednesday, February 15 and will open their 2012 slate at Connecticut College on March 10.
