Men's Hockey To Host Cerebral Palsy Fundraiser Game December 9

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's ice hockey team will host a fundraiser for United Cerebral Palsy of Maine at their December 9 game against Connecticut College at Watson Arena.

The Polar Bears have a personal attachment to the fight against cerebral palsy, as the team adopted Lucien Hodell in 2013 through Team Impact, a non-profit organization that connects collegiate teams with children facing adverse or life-threatening conditions.

Over the past five seasons, Lucien has been a crucial member of the team as he continues his fight against CP and the team will honor his efforts by wearing custom Cerebral Palsy awareness jerseys on December 9. Fans will have the ability to donate to the cause, purchase their own jersey and enter a raffle to win a team autographed jersey. All proceeds will go to United Cerebral Palsy of Maine.

As with all Bowdoin home games, admission is free and game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
