Tim McGarry Named Third Team All-American by American Hockey Coaches

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin senior men's ice hockey player Tim McGarry (Kennett Square, Pa.) has been named as a Third Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association.

McGarry, a co-captain and defenseman for the Polar Bears this season, helped guide the team to a program-record 23 wins, a NESCAC Championship and the school's third NCAA Quarterfinal appearance in the last four seasons.

A First Team All-NESCAC selection, McGarry ranked fourth in the conference with five goals and 12 assists this season and finishes his career with 18 goals and 31 assists in 103 career contests. He closes his career as Bowdoin's all-time leader in penalty minutes with 244.
