Men's Golf Competes at Williams Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's golf team finished 17th at the highly-competitive Williams Invitational hosted at Taconic Golf Club last weekend.

The Polar Bears improved six strokes on Sunday, finishing with a two-day team score of 688.

Tournament Highlights

  • Tom Dunleavy was Bowdoin's top performer for the weekend, shooting a 158 (+16) to finish in a tie for 38th place while Eric Giesler (+29) ended in 78th place.
  • Jackson Harrower (+37, 81st), Tyler Chonoles (+38, T-82nd) and Michael Donovan (+43, 87th) rounded out the Bowdoin competitors.

  • The Polar Bears will return to action this weekend at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier hosted by Indian Hills Golf Club in Connecticut. The top four team finishers will qualify for the NESCAC Championship in the spring.
