Men's Golf Team Finishes Fourth at Husson Invitational

Johnny Bohorquez led the way for Bowdoin this weekend at Williams

ORONO, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's golf team finished fourth of eight teams at the Husson Invitational hosted at the Penobscot Valley Country Club on Saturday.

The host Eagles won the event with a team score of 307, followed by Southern Maine (313) and Maine-Farmington (322). Bowdoin finished in the middle of the pack with a team total of 333, ahead of Presque Isle (335), Colby (337), Bates (343) and Maine Maritime (349).

Individually, John Bohorquez led the Polar Bears with a 79 with Bobby Kaminski carding a 81. Thomas Lilly (86), Matthew Mathias (87) and Kevin Zmozynski (93) were Bowdoin's other entrants.

The Polar Bears will return to competition next weekend with the Maine State Championship at Val Halla Country Club in Cumberland.
