Bowdoin Finishes Ninth at NESCAC Qualifier
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's golf team finished ninth at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier, missing out on a chance to play for the conference title in the spring. The Polar Bears finished with a two-day team score of 633. Ryan Blossom was the low Polar Bear, shooting a two-day total of 155 (79-76) to finish in a tie for 23rd place individually.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's golf team finished seventh at the Southern Maine Fall Classic at Sable Oaks Golf Course on Monday afternoon. The Polar Bears were led by Max Bridges, who took third place individually.

VASSALBORO, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's golf team placed third at the Maine State Intercollegiate Championship on Saturday at Natanis Golf Club. The Polar Bears, paced by Ryan Blossom's fourth-place individual showing, posted a two-day total of 659.

Polar Bears Place 12th at Williams Invitational
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Playing in an extremely competitive field at Taconic Golf Club last weekend, the Bowdoin College men's golf team placed 12th in the Williams College Invitational. Ryan Blossom (T-29th, 152) and Johnny Bohorquez (T-49th, 154) led the Polar Bears at Taconic Golf Club.

Husson Golf Team Wins 2009 Bowdoin Invitational
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Husson College men's golf team posted four of the top seven individual scores and cruised to the 2009 Bowdoin Invitational title on Sunday at Brunswick Golf Club. Husson's Kevin Byrne took medalist honors by three shots with a two-day total of 146 (+2). Ryan Blossom paced the Polar Bears with a two-day score of 157 to finish in 14th place overall.

Men's Golf Opens Season With Second-Place Finish
VASSALBORO, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's golf team became the first Polar Bear squad to compete in the 2009-10 academic year, earning a second-place finish at the Thomas College Terrier Invitational hosted at Natanis Golf Club on Tuesday. First-year John Bohorquez finished just one shot off the winning score, leading the squad with a 79 in his collegiate debut.
