Bowdoin Finishes Ninth at NESCAC Qualifier
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's golf team
finished ninth at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier, missing out on a
chance to play for the conference title in the spring. The Polar
Bears finished with a two-day team score of
633.
Ryan Blossom was the low Polar Bear, shooting a two-day total of
155 (79-76) to finish in a tie for 23rd place individually. Kevin
Smith posted a 159 (81-78) to place 32nd while Edson Bridges
(78-83) and Johnny Bohorquez (80-81) carded 161's to tie for 37th
overall. Turner Kufe rounded out the Bowdoin players with a score
of 164 (84-80).
Williams won the qualifier, with Hamilton, Trinity and Middlebury
also netting bids for the spring championship tournament. Bowdoin
will finish out their fall season with the CBB Championship at
Waterville Country Club on October 18.
