Andrew Madlinger Recognized as Player of the Week By Maine Basketball Coaches

Madlinger is currently averaging 18.0 points per game this season

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin junior Andrew Madlinger (Basking Ridge, N.J.) has been named Maine Men's Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week

The 6-3 shooting guard tossed in a career-best 28 points to pace Bowdoin in a victory over Southern Maine on Tuesday – a game where he connected on  6-of-13 attempts from three-point range, in addition to securing six rebounds and a pair of steals. He led Bowdoin again on Saturday with 17 points in a victory over Maine Maritime.

Madlinger currently leads Bowdoin, and stands second in the NESCAC, at 18.0 points per game this year.

The Polar Bears stand at 3-2 this season and will close out their first semester with a pair of rivalry games. Bowdoin will travel to play at Bates on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. before hosting Colby on Friday at 7:00.
