Hanley Named Second Team All-Region by NABC and D3Hoops.com
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College junior men's basketball player Will Hanley (New Canaan, Conn.) has collected two more postseason awards following one of the finest individual seasons in program history. Hanley was named Second Team All-Northeast Region by D3Hoops.com and Second Team All-Northeast District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Will Hanley Nets First Team All-NESCAC Honors
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College junior Will Hanley (New Canaan, Conn.) has been named as a First Team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference selection in honors announced by the league on Wednesday. He is the second-straight Polar Bear, and third player since the establishment of the league in 2001, to collect First Team recognition.

Top-Seeded Williams Eliminates Bowdoin in NESCAC Tourney
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's basketball team saw its season come to a close in an 82-62 loss to Williams in the Quarterfinals of the NESCAC Tournament on Saturday. The eighth-seeded Polar Bears end their year with a record of 14-10 while the top-seeded Ephs improve to 24-1 on the season.

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's basketball team will travel to Williamstown, Mass. this weekend attempting to make NESCAC Tournament history. The Polar Bears (14-9, 3-6 NESCAC) are seeded eighth in the 2011 NESCAC Men's Basketball Championship and will look to knock off top-seeded Williams (23-1, 9-0 NESCAC) in the quarterfinals scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Bowdoin Secures Playoff Bid as Hanley Surpasses 1,000 Points
MIDDLETOWN, Conn - The Bowdoin College men's basketball team survived a furious Wesleyan rally in the final three minutes of their regular season finale on Saturday and escaped with a 72-71 victory to lock up the eighth and final spot in the NESCAC tournament. Bowdoin will travel to top-seeded Williams for its playoff opener next Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m. Wesleyan was eliminated from tournament contention with the loss.

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Sophomore Rob Harrigan buried a three-pointer with six seconds left to cap a game-ending 10-to-0 run and lift the Connecticut College men’s basketball team to a 62-60 victory against Bowdoin College on Friday evening. The Camels improve to 12-11 with a 3-5 record in the NESCAC. Bowdoin falls to 13-9 with a 2-6 mark in league play.

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - In the second highest scoring game in school history, the Bowdoin College men's basketball team came up short in a thrilling 109-108 double-overtime loss at Bridgewater State on Tuesday evening. With their third-straight loss, the Polar Bears fall to 13-8 overall this season. Will Hanley posted a career-high 33 points (on 13-16 shooting) and grabbed 12 rebounds in 43 minutes of play.
