Bowdoin Inducts Eighth Class into Athletic Hall of Honor
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College Athletic Hall of Honor welcomed its eighth class on October 17.
The distinguished inductees spanned nearly five decades of
excellence and encompassed seven different teams. They were
celebrated with the school's annual induction ceremony on Saturday
of Homecomng Weekend.
This year's class includes:
- New England Champion swimmer and baseball stalwart Harold White '39
- National Champion hammer thrower Alex Schulten '66
- Ice Hockey All-American Dick Donovan '73
- Two-time National Champion swimmer Kirk Hutchinson '82
- Field Hockey, Ice Hockey and Lacrosse standout Susan Leonard Toll '85

The Bowdoin College Athletic Hall of Honor was founded in 2002 to perpetuate the memory of those persons who have brought distinction, honor and excellence to Bowdoin through their accomplishments in athletics.
