The head coach at Rhodes (Tenn.) College for 14 seasons, Joe White joins the Polar Bear staff as wide receivers coach. Ranking second all-time in wins at Rhodes, White accumulated 64 victories and his 2010 team finished third overall in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. In addition to coaching dozens of All-SCAC players during his tenure, his 2010 squad boasted 19 Academic All-SCAC student-athletes. White's resume also includes stops at Columbia University, where he was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator from 1989-97. He got his start at his alma mater, Springfield College, as a coach from 1982-86, where he also owns a Master's Degree in Physical Education.
