Andrew Cohen joins the Bowdoin coaching staff as defensive coordinator for the 2011 season. A veteran coach at the Division I-AA and III levels, Cohen most recently coached at Lycoming (Pa.) where he led the #2 ranked defense in the Middle Atlantic Conference.

Prior to Lycoming, Cohen was the defensive coordinator and interim head coach at Bucknell, where his credits include leading the Patriot League's second-best rush defense in 2009 as the unit ranked among the league's best with 23 turnovers. He was also a member of the coaching staff for Bucknell's 1996 Patriot League championship squad. Cohen's resume also includes successful coaching stints at Columbia, Fordham and Stony Brook, where he has developed a track record of developing outstanding defensive corps.

Cohen is a graduate of Marist College and earned his Master's Degree from Stony Brook.
