Noone Named to Football Writers' All-New England Team

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College sophomore wide receiver Pat Noone (North Attleboro, Mass.) has been named to the New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England team. Noone posted an exceptional campaign in which he broke every single-season receiving record in program history and is one of just six players from the NESCAC to earn All-Region status.

Noone re-wrote the Bowdoin record books this season at wideout, shattering the single-season marks for receptions (76), yards (997) and touchdown catches (7). He established a new NESCAC record for single-season receptions (breaking the mark of 73 set by Wesleyan's Matt Perceval in 1999) and his receiving yards are the second-most by a player in conference history.

He finished with seven touchdown receptions to set a single-season school record and twice set the program mark for catches in a game; breaking it in week one against Middlebury (12 catches) and improving the mark in week six against Wesleyan (14).

After just two seasons, including a first-year campaign that saw him catch just seven passes, Noone ranks high among the school's all-time receiving leaders. His 83 career receptions stand fifth all-time, just 12 behind the school record. His 1,046 career yards stand sixth all-time, 555 shy of the program mark while his seven touchdown receptions are ninth all-time in school history.
