Polar Bears Second at Maine-Farmington Invite
WILTON, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team placed second in the Maine-Farmington Invitational at Wilson Lake Golf Club on Sunday afternoon. Rival Bates edged the Polar Bears as the top five scorers for each team accounted for the final result.

Women's Golf Team Edged by Bates in Scramble
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bates College women's golf team edged Bowdoin in a scramble golf tournament hosted by Brunswick Golf Club on Saturday. A total of five players from each team scored with the Bobcats finishing at 149 and Bowdoin carding 156.

Gross Takes Medalist Honors as Bates Clips Bowdoin
AUBURN, Maine - Bowdoin College women's golfer Chelsea Gross took medalist honors at Prospect Hill Golf Course Saturday in a dual match against Bates College. The Polar Bears fell in the competition by a team score of 375-416. Gross carded an 87 to steer four shots clear of the field for the day.

Women's Golf Hosts Third Annual Bowdoin Blast
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team battled through damp afternoon conditions to host the third annual Bowdoin Blast at Brunswick Golf Club on Saturday. With individual competitors from Bates, Bowdoin, Maine-Farmington and Saint Anselm, Mimi Neal of Bates posted a 90 to claim medalist honors. First-year Chelsea Gross paced the host Polar Bears with a 95.

Women's Rugby Opens Campaign With Pair of Wins
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's rugby team took a pair of victories in a doubleheader to open their 2009 campaign on Saturday. The Polar Bears blanked Colby 27-0 before posting a 12-5 win over the University of Maine-Farmington. Bowdoin will open league play next Saturday at 1:00 at Radcliffe College.
