Men's Cross-Country Fifth at Regionals, Women Take Ninth

CUMBERLAND, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's cross-country team
finished fifth and the women ninth at the New England Division III
Championship Saturday afternoon at Twin Brook Recreation
Center.
Thompson Ogilvie topped the Bowdoin performers on the rainy day in
Maine, placing sixth individually in the race (25:31.8) followed by
Colman Hatton in 10th overall (25:39.9). Colin Ogilvie placed 28th
(26:11.0), Stan Berkow 33rd (26:17.6) and Charlie Berdahl 76th
(27:00.2) to round out the Bowdoin scorers.
On the women's side, Lindsay Hodge paced the Polar Bears in
23:04.4 to take 42nd overall. A group of Polar Bears all finished
within a minute of each other, as Christine Argueta (54th,
23:16.9), Anna Ackerman (56th, 23:20.0), Olivia MacKenzie (58th,
23:23.5) and Yasmine White (68th, 23:51.1) represented the scoring
runners for Bowdoin.
Thanks to their performances, Thompson Ogilvie and Colman Hatton
will receive automatic individual bids to the NCAA Championship
next weekend in Ohio. NCAA Championship team selections will be
announced on Tuesday.
