Field Hockey Sets Sights on Fifth-Straight NESCAC Crown
HARTFORD, Conn. - The Bowdoin College field hockey team travels to Trinity College this weekend with their sights on an unprecedented fifth-straight title at the 2009 NESCAC Championship. The sixth-seeded Polar Bears (10-5, 4-5 NESCAC) will take on the top-seeded Bantams (14-1, 8-1 NESCAC) in the semifinals at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sheppard Field. The winner will advance to play either Williams or Tufts in the title match Sunday at noon.
